MSQ Guidelines Changed

Managing Service Quality has increased its formal word limit

Changes to Author Guidelines for Managing Service Quality (MSQ)
In line with the nature and scope of service management research published in MSQ, we now accept longer manuscripts for review. While in the past, the journal has generally accepted longer papers when the contribution was felt to be meaningful relative to the length of the manuscript, now we have formally increased the word limit. The new word limit is 8,500 words, inclusive of references, tables and appendices. This increased word limit is also consistent with a number of other journal in the field.
We also wish to emphasize that the journal encourages submission of manuscripts from a broad range of service management topics highlighted in our website. For details, please see:;

or contact the co-editors.
