I am delighted to invite you to submit a case for the Marketing and Managing at Home and Abroad Track, Annual Meeting of the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) to be held in The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on the October 17 –19 2013. The deadline for submission of cases is 22nd June 2013.
The NACRA Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to engage with other casewriters in a small group format to exchange feedback and polish a case, learn about using cases in the classroom, get a peer-reviewed conference and proceedings on a vita, and enjoy presentations from leading case researchers and case educators.
The NACRA Conference is an excellent professional opportunity to develop our research and teaching abilities because it is an experiential meeting designed to provide participants’ feedback. Moreover, through analysis and discussions of the Teaching Notes, participants are enriched for interchange point of view on marketing and international business frameworks, participant-centered learning methodologies and the case method.
There are typically several presentations by experienced authors on case research and teaching. The format of the conference is primarily roundtable discussions. For our track, cases should deal with issues important to Marketing, International business, Global management and Cross-cultural issues disciplines, and have a clear learning objective for students. Although the conference is open to submission on all management topics (find the attached files: call for cases and author guidelines).
