The 2014-2015 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program core competition is now open.
The Fulbright Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2014-2015 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.
This year, there are over 80 awards available in the field of business administration. Moreover, All Discipline awards offered in all regions of the world welcome teaching and/or research proposals in any area of study, including interdisciplinary projects. American faculty and professionals in business development, entrepreneurship, and other specializations are in high demand to bring their expertise to campuses worldwide as Fulbright Scholars. In Austria, applications are sought for the Fulbright-Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe at Vienna University. Business administration is highly sought after in the Middle East, with special opportunities in Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and Oman. In El Salvador and Haiti, business development expertise is highly sought after. These are only a fraction of the many opportunities offered by the Fulbright Scholar Program for 2014-15. In order to meet the changing needs of academia and develop new options to better accommodate the interests and commitments of today’s scholars, the program has introduced several innovations to the 2014-2015 program, including: Fulbright Flex Awards, Fulbright Postdoctoral/Early Career Awards, Salary Stipend Supplements, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language Awards.
