http://consciouscapitalism.org/conference/
This conference features a blend of pioneering corporate leaders, world class academics and renowned thought leaders who will together explore the frontiers of our knowledge on what it means to be a conscious business in the 21st century. CEOs include John Mackey of Whole Foods, Kip Tindell of The Container Store, Abilio Diniz of GPA Brazil, Doug Rauch (former President of Trader Joe’s) and Chip Conley. You will also hear from thought leaders such as James Heskett of Harvard Business School, R. Edward Freeman of the Darden School, Robert Quinn of Michigan, Adam Grant of Wharton, Richard Barrett, Chris Meyer, Srinivasan Pillay, Michael Gelb, and many others.
Conscious businesses have distinctive cultures that help to sustain their adherence to their higher purpose and their orientation towards maintaining a harmony of interests across stakeholders. Conscious cultures are self-sustaining, self-healing and evolutionary. They are resilient to changes in leadership or external context.
We will explore what a truly conscious culture looks like, how it differs from a “great place to work,” hear from the leaders of companies that have built and sustained such cultures and look at what the journey towards creating a Conscious Culture entails. The conference will feature ten interactive workshops on a number of themes, including several that are directly related to the culture theme. These include workshops on cultural assessment and measurement, cultural transformation, and fostering organizational creativity.
