Call for papers
The University of Tilburg (Tilburg, the Netherlands) hosts the 9th Marketing Dynamics Conference on August 23-25, 2012. This event brings together academics from around the globe to present, hear, and discuss new research within the realm of marketing dynamics. The Marketing Dynamics Conference has become an established forum whose relatively small scale (about 100 participants) ensures a vibrant discussion about cutting-edge research on managerially relevant dynamic marketing problems.
The conference starts on Thursday August 23 with a workshop titled “Unveiling Hidden Markov Models in Marketing” taught by Oded Netzer from Columbia University, and a keynote address by Pradeep Chintagunta from the University of Chicago. The conference then proceeds with presentations by the participants on Friday August 24 and Saturday August 25.
We invite you to submit a three-page abstract (one title page and two text pages) of your research paper.
The program committee consists of Jean-Pierre Dubé (University of Chicago), Mike Hanssens (UCLA Anderson School of Management), Harald van Heerde (Waikato Management School, New Zealand), Koen Pauwels (Ozyegin University, Istanbul), K. Sudhir (Yale School of Management) and the conference chairs (Bart Bronnenberg, Marnik Dekimpe and Els Gijsbrechts).
The deadline for submitting abstracts is April 15, 2012.
