Aston University Marketing Research Camp, Guest speakers Scott Armstrong, Gilles Laurent, Peter Leeflang, Birmingham, UK, 17 May 2012

Aston Marketing Research Camp – 17 May 2012

Aston Business School organises its own Marketing Research Camp. The purpose of this camp is to bring world-leading researchers in marketing together to generate exciting and fruitful discussions about research practice and identify promising research directions.

Our three guest speakers are worldwide leading marketing researchers:
– J. Scott Armstrong, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
– Gilles Laurent, HEC Paris.
– Peter S.H. Leeflang, University of Groningen and Aston Business School

The research camp will consist in a series of presentations and several thematic workshops.
Presentations
Our three guest speakers will present their last work-in-progress. One-hour presentations are planned in order to allow presenters to deeply explain their research and to let time to an interesting and insightful discussion.
Workshops
Several thematic workshops will be organised around specific topics. Led by our guest speakers and other distinguished marketing researchers, each workshop will gather 7-8 participants around a table and take the form of an interactive discussion.
Time for discussion
Several discussion timeslots will be arranged around coffee and biscuits or during lunch as additional opportunities to meet and discuss with great people in an informal atmosphere.
