Call for Papers

The Customer Information Management Center is organizing its 2nd conference on the campus of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) in Beijing on June 27, 2012.

The conference aims to accomplish three goals. First, it aims to present cutting-edge research topics and methodologies to research communities within China so that Chinese academics can learn about what marketing science can bring to the theory and practice of marketing. Second, the conference provides a platform for both academics and professionals to exchange ideas and explore collaboration opportunities. Third, it serves as a forum to obtain interesting data sets and explore research opportunities related to emerging markets.

This year’s conference will include an optional 3-day China Immersion Program from June 28 to 30 in Beijing and Shanghai, immediately after the conference. During this immersion program, participants will visit four companies, engage in in-depth discussions of best marketing practices in emerging markets, and explore research collaboration opportunities. To better shape the immersion program and enhance the quality of the dialog, we invite several prominent scholars to be the advisors for the China Immersion Program.

Conference attendees will include both academics and invited practitioners. We encourage submission of behavioral, empirical, and analytical research papers. The whole event is in English.
