Dear Friends:

I am looking forward to receiving your full manuscript or extended abstract for the 2012 AMS World Marketing Congress sales track to be held at Buckhead (Atlanta) Aug 28-Sep 1. The deadline for receiving the abstract is Feb 20, little over two weeks from now.

Several of you have asked whether it is okay for authors to submit extended abstracts that represent work-in-progress – where folks are collecting data this spring and will have results to discuss in Buckhead. We have been advised by Conference Chair that it is perfectly fine. Thus, as long as the extended abstract is detailed enough to meet credible judgment of reviewers, then you should be able to have a good presentation when the time comes.
