The 36th annual conference of the International Marketing Educators’ Association (www.marketingeducators.org<http://www.marketingeducators.org/>) will be held April 19-21, 2012 at the Hilton Long Beach Hotel and Executive Conference Center in downtown Long Beach, California.

Conference registration includes a one-year subscription to the Journal of Marketing Education, along with the Thursday President’s reception and awards dinner, Friday lunch, and Friday and Saturday breakfasts.

The 2012 MEA Conference will be held April 19-21, 2012 at the Hilton Long Beach Hotel and Executive Conference Center in downtown Long Beach, California.

Please submit competitive papers to Dr. Deborah Brown McCabe (dmmcabe@menlo.edu) and special session proposals to Dr. Ed Petkus (epetkus@ramapo.edu

Papers and proposals should be submitted electronically by November 11, 2011.

The emphasis of the 2012 Marketing Educators’ Association Conference will be on topics dealing directly with marketing education—including classroom technology, current marketing trends (e.g., sustainability, social media, managing group dynamics)—and will be comprised of both Competitive Papers and Special Sessions.

Papers presented at the conference are often a stepping-stone to publication in the Journal of Marketing Education and other similar journals.
