Marc Fischer, Franziska Voelckner (both University of Cologne), and Henrik Sattler (University of Hamburg) won the 2011 VHB Best Paper Award for their paper "How Important Are Brands? A Cross-Category, Cross-Country Study", which appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, October 2010. VHB, the German Academic Association for Business Research, awards this prize for the best publication by a member in the preceding year across all business disciplines.
