Special Issue on Sport Marketing & Media
 
The sport industry has become a complex and diverse industry. Marketing and the media are closely intertwined with the sport industry. The importance of these subjects is widely recognized by academic scholars and practitioners. Manuscripts are being solicited for a special issue on sport marketing and media which will be published in the Journal of Global Academy of Marketing Science. The goal of this special issue is to extend our practical and theoretical knowledge on sport marketing and media. Also, we would like to celebrate the launching of this new division in the journal by inviting authors to submit empirical studies or theoretical papers related to sport marketing and media. Papers with theoretical backgrounds and that contain managerial implications are encouraged and welcomed.

Emerging media and technology in sport marketing
Minority issues in sport marketing and media
Media and sport consumer behavior
Global sport marketing and media
Sport broadcasting and the emerging media landscape

Current metrics and alternative measures of sport marketing effectiveness
Sport and health communication issues
 
Journal Indexing Information
 
The Journal of Global Academy of Marketing Science will be published by "Taylor & Francis" in UK, and is scheduled to be indexed in SCOPUS starting in 2012.
 
Submission information
 
All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word or in PDF format and in the proper format for the Journal of Global Academy of Marketing Science. Manuscripts must be sent electronically to kihan@snu.ac.kr. Do not send manuscripts via postal mail or to the publisher. The deadline for submission is December 10, 2011. Enquiries should be directed to the special issue editors. Accepted papers will be published in 2012.
