Journal of Consumer Affairs Best Article Award for 2011
Andrea Heintz Tangari, Scot Burton, Elizabeth Howlett, Yoon-Na Cho and Anastasia Thyroff were selected by members of the Journal of Consumer Affairs editorial board as recipients of our Best Article Award for "Weighing In On Fast Food Consumption: The Effects of Meal and Calorie Disclosures on Consumer Fast Food Evaluations," which appeared in the Fall 2010 (vol. 44) issue of the journal.
This award recognizes leading high quality scholarship regarding the consumers’ interest published in the journal and was announced by the journal editor at the 2011 ACCI conference in Washington, DC, April 13-15. Selected from the research articles that were published in the 2009 and 2010 issues, the honorees received a plaque and a check for $1000.
