Revisit: ARF 2011
Introduction
Advertising Research Foundation 75th Anniversary Annual Convention, 21-23 Mar 2011, New York City, Free admission to all students at all levels
The Advertising Research Foundation has decided to offer all students–undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D.–free admission to its upcoming Re:Think conference and trade show. I realize this is last-minute–the conference starts this Sunday ((3/20)–but I was just made aware of this decision. I?m hoping you can get the word out to your students about this opportunity.
As you may know, the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) is holding its annual conference and trade show, called Re:Think, next week in New York City. The events starts Sunday afternoon (3/20) and runs until Wednesday afternoon (3/23). The event features an amazing array of industry speakers and exhibitions by the top firms in advertising research.
The ARF has decided to sponsor any student–undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D.–who would like to attend Re:Think. Students will be able to attend all general sessions and key issue forums free of charge. (Tickets to the luncheons, receptions and awards are not included.) This is an amazing opportunity for students to hear the latest insights from top thought-leaders in the advertising field and network with key industry players who can help their careers. Students can attend as much or as little of Re:Think as their schedule permits.
I’m hoping that faculty members who participate in ELMAR can take a few minutes to let their students know about this opportunity. It would also be helpful if ELMAR participants can let other members of their department know about this opportunity and encourage them to pass the word along to their students.
Any student who would like to attend Re:Think simply needs to email Antonia Miranda of the ARF at antonia@thearf.org. For more information about the event, such as the specific location, program schedule, speakers, etc., please visit: http://rethink.thearf.org.
Thanks in advance for your help spreading the word about Re:Think.
