MASSIG Lifetime Achievement Award

Introduction

The AMA Marketing and Society Special Interest Group solicits nominations for its Lifetime Achievement Award; Deadline 1 Apr 2011

This is to solicit nominees for the Marketing & Society SIG Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is to acknowledge outstanding contributions in the field of marketing and social issues.


Winners should have contributed a significant body of work in developing and advancing research in the marketing & society, public policy, and/or marketing ehtics areas.


Deadline for nominations is April 1, 2011.

This award will be given to an individual who exemplifies outstanding work in the areas of marketing & society, public policy, and/or marketing ethics.  The winner will be honored at the Summer AMA conference August 4-7, 2011 in San Francisco, CA.  Since its establishment three years ago, past recipients have included: Alan Andreasen (2008), Bill Wilkie (2009), and Paul Bloom (2010).

Nominations should include a defense of why the potential recipient is deserving of this award, a copy of their vita, and a minimum of 3 references in support of the nominee.  The deadline for nominations is April 1, 2011.  Please submit nominations to: Linda Ferrell, University of New Mexico, LFerrell@mgt.unm.edu.  Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged.  A select committee of past winners will determine this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
