charity: water Collegiate ECHO Challenge to Your Students
Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (directworks.org) announces this year’s Collegiate ECHO Challenge to all undergraduate and graduate students worldwide in all majors, in partnership with charity: water! The spring deadline for all student teams to sign up for the Challenge is March 18, 2011. Projects are due April 15.
Visit and bookmark collegiateecho.org for details and updates!
The Challenge
charity: water has leveraged today’s technology to provide its supporters with the tools necessary to fundraise and advocate on behalf of the charity independent of the organization.
Your challenge is to help charity: water engage the yet untapped audience of college/university students and spark interest in fundraising campaigns in the mycharitywater.org division. The primary goal of charity: water in colleges will be to raise awareness that leads to individuals and groups running fundraising campaigns on mycharity: water.org. Teams can be as creative as they would like with their theoretical budget of $10K, and should keep in mind the size, culture, background and fundraising model of the organization.
Benefits of Participation
- hands on experience in developing a marketing plan through a real-world business case study challenge.
- direct/interactive marketing strategy on an international level.
- The school whose team wins the Gold, Silver, or Bronze Award will be eligible to receive a grant to award student scholarships.
- Cash prizes for the top 3 undergraduate teams.
- Your campaign could help take this small but nimble organization to the next level!
- a great differentiator and resume builder
