Increasing number of mobile communication and wireless network users has generated strong demand for new mobile commerce (MC) applications and services. Mobile communication technologies are growing rapidly focusing on supporting high speed data transfer over communication network. Business organization and mobile communication network service providers are forced to bring new technologies to provide customers more reliable, secure, user-friendly, and affordable m-commerce and mobile services. With mobile communication technologies, users can enhances their lives in many ways, through communication, data sharing, entertainment, e-learning, e-Commerce, and mobile application services. Customer demand and mobile communication service supports together provide many new business opportunities and challenges to MC vendors and mobile network service providers, such as mobile content publishers, various marketplaces, entertainment, information services, etc. Innovative applications and services facilitate the growing users’ needs for MC services.
The growing demand of MC has drawn much attention from Academicians and Researchers as well. This special issue aims to covers latest development of mobile communication technologies & Internet technologies supporting innovation in MC, including emerging mobile communication technologies applied to MC, new MC models, and Web 2.0 applications in MC, next generation MC applications, ubiquitous computing environment and cloud computing environment employed by MC. With this special issue researchers and practitioners can exchange ideas, challenges, new business models and structures, and new technologies and solutions.

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted or if it has been completely re-written). The submitted manuscripts should follow the instructions as outlined in the Author Portal found on the http://www.icebnet.org/JMS/. Electronic submission in PDF format via the Author Portal is required. All submitted papers will be formally reviewed online.
