2011 Louis W. Stern Award
The AMA IOSIG is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2011 Louis W. Stern Award is “Factors Influencing the Effectiveness of Relationship Marketing: A Meta-Analysis" by Robert W. Palmatier, Rajiv P. Dant, Dhruv Grewal, and Kenneth R. Evans, which was published in 2006 in the Journal of Marketing (Volume 70, October, pages 136-153).
The paper received numerous nominations and the selection committee–chaired by Lisa K. Scheer (University of Missouri) which also included Robert F. Lusch (University of Arizona) and Kenneth H. Wathne (BI Norwegian School of Management)–unanimously agreed that the winning article was an outstanding example of original and well executed research that has made a distinct contribution to the field of interorganizational phenomena.
