Search for New Editor(s) for the Journal of Retailing
The Journal of Retailing is beginning a search for a new editor (or team of two co-editors) to succeed Professors Rajiv Dant and Jim Brown. The current editors have done an outstanding job of building the reputation and stature of the Journal of Retailing. In selecting a new editor we will look for individuals who can continue this momentum.
Nominations or expressions of interest can be for one individual to serve as editor or for two individuals to serve as co-editors. We are looking for individuals with an established record of scholarship who have the ability to make tough but fair decisions in a timely manner. The initial term of appointment is three years beginning in fall 2011. New York University provides discretionary financial support to the editor, but there is an expectation that the individual’s institution will also help support the editor.
Nominations or expressions of interest should be submitted by December 15th. Individuals who are interested should submit their cv along with a brief statement of interest. Nomination of other individuals should include their affiliation and some indication of their likely interest in serving as editor.
Send nominations via email to:
Professor C. Samuel Craig, Chair
Journal of Retailing, Executive Board
New York University Stern School of Business
40 W. 4th Street
New York, NY 10012
Our desire is to have the editor(s) designate in place before the end of the spring semester.
Feel free to email or call Sam Craig (212.998.0555) with any questions related to the editorship.
