Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management

Position

The Associate Editor of JPSSM assists the Editor in a variety of aspects of the journal, as assigned by the Editor. The Associate Editorship is a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2011, and ending December 30 2013. It is normally expected that the Associate Editor of JPSSM will subsequently take over the Editor position for a three-year term.

Qualification

The Associate Editor of JPSSM must be recognized as a leader in scholarly activity within the field of selling and sales management. Experience publishing in, and reviewing for JPSSM is very important. A willingness to work closely with the incoming Editor, Mike Ahearne during his term is essential.

Selection Process

Nominations should be sent electronically to James S. Boles, current JPSSM Editor, at the address below. The deadline for receiving nominations is September 6, 2010. Included with the nomination must be:

  1. A letter of nomination.
  2. A current curriculum vita.
  3. Three references (one may be the person writing the nominating letter).
  4. A maximum two-page statement from the candidate explaining why he or she is interested in the position, outlining the vision he or she has for JPSSM, and providing evidence that his or her university is willing to provide reasonable support for the role.
