Winner – 2010 Mahajan Award for Lifetime Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research
The Marketing Strategy SIG of the American Marketing Association is pleased to announce that Professor Roland T. Rust, Distinguished University Professor and the David Bruce Smith Chair in Marketing, Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, is the winner of 2010 Vijay Mahajan Award for Lifetime Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research.
The winner was determined by a committee comprised of senior marketing strategy scholars (including two former Mahajan Award Winners and a CurrentPast JM Editor) with no conflict (in terms of the institution they belong to and coauthors) with the nominees for the award.
The award will be presented at an invitation only SIG Awards Luncheon Session at the Summer AMA meeting in Boston (August 13-16, 2010).
The past winners of the Mahajan Awards are: David Aaker, George Day, David Montgomery, Rajan Varadarajan, Raj Srivastava, Frederick Webster, Gerry Tellis, V. Kumar, Christine Moorman, and Ajay Kohli (in chronological order).
