The 2010 Marketing and Public Policy Research Workshop will be held immediately prior to the 2010 AMA Marketing & Public Policy Conference (MPPC) at Colorado State University.

Workshop Format and Content: This four day workshop will include discussion and small group interaction led by distinguished researchers active in the areas of marketing, economics, psychology, and public policy. Participants will develop a research proposal with the guidance of experienced scholars. Pre-workshop readings, as well as the development of a statement of research interests, will help prepare attendees to be active participants.

Who Should Attend: This workshop is designed for Ph.D. students and faculty wishing to develop or expand a research program that addresses consumer welfare, public policy, and/or corporate social responsibility issues.

Workshop Faculty: An outstanding group of faculty from universities across the U.S. will share their research experiences, lead discussions, and assist the participants in the development of research proposals.

Information and Application: Additional information is available at the workshop website www.biz.colostate.edu/mppcworkshop. Applications, which are available at this website, should be submitted by January 31, 2010. The workshop will be limited to a maximum of 30 participants.

Scholarships: A limited number of grants will be available to help cover travel expenses.

Given the generous support of the workshop sponsors (listed below), we are in a position to charge only a small registration fee of $100 and provide participants with hotel accommodations and most meals (at no charge). Transportation from Fort Collins to Denver for the Marketing & Public Policy Conference will be provided on May 20, 2010.
