9th Annual DocSIG Pre-Conference Symposium

Join us on Friday, August 7 at the Chicago Marriott (Room TBD) from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. This Symposium is a great way to meet and interact with doctoral student colleagues and distinguished faculty, as well as gain valuable knowledge that will assist in career development. The Symposium is open to all doctoral students.

The morning will feature faculty roundtables (i.e., an opportunity to interact in very small groups with faculty) including:

• Sundar Bharadwaj (Emory University)
• Bob Dahlstrom (University of Kentucky)
• Mark Houston (Texas Christian University)
• Dan Ladik (Suffolk University)
• Kay Lemon (Boston College)

• Connie Pechmann (University of California, Irvine)
• ….and more!

Symposium participants will also attend a luncheon hosted by the Marketing Doctoral Students Association. In the afternoon, participants will attend a ‘Meet the Editors’ session. This session is hosted by the Marketing Doctoral Students Association.

The Symposium will conclude at 2:00 pm, in time for everyone to enjoy the afternoon and to attend the Summer AMA welcome reception.

Sunday Luncheon

On Sunday, August 9 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm, you are invited to attend a doctoral students’ luncheon. Join us for lunch and hear from our keynote speaker, Don Lehmann. Please RSVP to Lindsay McShane at lmcshane@business.queensu.ca by Monday, July 27, 2008. There are limited spaces available, so RSVP early!
