On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 11th West Lake International Conference on Small & Medium Business (WLICSMB 2009), we are pleased to take this opportunity to warmly invite you to the conference. The WLICSMB 2009 will be held from October 24 to 26, 2009, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, People’s Republic of China. The conference is jointly organized by Hangzhou Municipal Government, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Small & Medium Enterprises Bureau, and World Association of Industrial & Technological Research organizations. Many organizations and universities such as Marquette University, University of Akron and Texas Tech University are among the institutional sponsors of the conference.

One of the conference’s unique features is its aim to provide an international forum for professionals both from academia and industry as well as from developing and developed countries to share their research, ideas, and perspectives. Hangzhou is an ancient lake city with profound Chinese culture and character. Located some 130 KM southwest of Shanghai, Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province. Zhejiang is not only the richest province in China but it is also the home of the fastest growing small & medium businesses in the world.
