The Wine Business in California and Tuscany: A Cross Country Analysis, Book edited by Monica Faraoni and Cristina Santini; Abstract deadline 13 Apr 2009

The book will analyses the structure of the wine business in the respective countries, and will cover a broad range of topics including (but not limited to): 

Entrepreneurship and family firms;
Marketing: new trends in consumptions and demand and strategic marketing;
Sales and distribution: the distribution system and sales trends;
Innovation: market, product or process innovation;
Innovation: market, product or process innovation;
Associations and Institutions: role of public and private associations and national/local institutions;
Wine Tourism & events;
If you would like to submit a case, the editor will decide which chapter it will be featured in. We must respect publisher’s page limits, and there is a very limited scope for additional topics, but we welcome your offers in this regards, too.  Chapters should have an empirical orientation.
A scientific committee will be in charge of guarantee the overall quality of the publication.
The editors invite prospective authors to submit abstracts of around 300 words by email to:

Abstracts will get through a double referral process for acceptance; final manuscripts will be also reviewed.
Abstract submission: 13 April 09
Final manuscript submission: 26 June 09
Further details will be provided after successful abstract submission. Contributors will receive contributor acknowledgement in the paragraph/chapter and four copies of the book.
