The Financial Services Institute (FSI) invites you to submit a paper for the 2009 – 4th Annual Conference in New York City, U.S.A.

The deadline for submitting detailed abstracts or papers is April 1, 2009. Final version of accepted papers is due on July 15, 2009. Papers are peer reviewed and published in conference proceedings. Papers and proposals should be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word to Rong Qi qir@stjohns.edu. Papers must not have been published or presented elsewhere.

FSI features state of the art papers and invites multi-disciplinary or discipline-specific research.

TRACKS: papers are accepted in all areas related to financial services. Some of the tracks are:

1-Conference Theme; 2-Banking And Financial Regulation: Developments And Implication; 3-Banking: Payment Systems And Technology; 4-Issues In Cross Border Banking; 5-Working Capital And Treasury Management; 6-Investments: Strategies, Products, Venture Capital, Etc; 7-Behavioral Finance; 8-Risk Management And Insurance; 9-Ethics And Governance In Financial Services; 10-International Finance; 11-Monetary Policy And Financial Markets; 12-Microbanking: An Approach To Fight Poverty; 13-Financial Education And Cases In Financial Services; 14-Financial Markets In Emerging Countries: Privatization And Structural Reform; 15-Research And Search Methods: New Approaches And Innovation.

CONFERENCE FEE: Before July 15: $200; After July 15: $220

Conference includes:

Peer reviewed presentations and proceedings
Breakfast, lunch, snacks and cocktail party
Best papers will be published in the review of business.
