Department Chair Position Opening at Wayne State University

The School of Business Administration at Wayne State is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management department chair position for the Fall 2009 semester. This department consists of 15 full time faculty members. This is a tenured position at the rank of associate/full professor. In addition to a Ph.D. in marketing, supply chain management, or a related discipline, qualified candidates should have a substantial publication record in major academic journals and a successful record of teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

The chosen candidate must be able to work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and other constituents in the School, as well as with alumni and members of the business community. The Chair will lead the efforts to further develop departmental faculty, and will serve as the key point of contact for students.
