Assistant Professor of Marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position, as a tenure track assistant professor, involves teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels, conducting research targeted at top quality refereed journals and performing service duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The College of Business has developed a strategic plan designed to leverage local strengths with national and international application in real estate, entrepreneurship and entertainment. The Department of Marketing is currently seeking a candidate with expertise in experiential marketing to further support the Colleges’ entertainment strategic focus. Areas that fall within the context of experiential marketing might include, but are not limited to, entertainment marketing, sports marketing, event marketing, arts and tourism marketing among others. The candidate should have a strong research program targeted at high level journals with a focus in experiential marketing and a willingness to teach in this, and other related marketing areas. Applicants must possess a Marketing Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution. Outstanding ABDs very near to completion will be considered.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary competitive; contingent upon labor market. Position is contingent upon funding.
