Assistant Professor, Marketing
The Department of Management and Marketing at Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business is accepting applications for a visiting position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor rank, starting date Spring or Fall 2009.
Primary Job Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and possibly graduate level with interest in teaching from among the following courses: strategic marketing, international marketing, and principles of marketing. The normal teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Salary and benefits are competitive with AACSB accredited institutions.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in a Marketing related field from an AACSB accredited institution, however ABDs near completion will be considered.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills and documented excellence in both teaching and scholarship are required. Candidates are expected to be able to use effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners.
