Department of Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge seeks applications for Associate or Full Professor tenured faculty appointment to the Robert S. Greer, Sr. Endowed Chair in Business Administration.

Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge is the state’s only comprehensive university with an enrollment of approximately 35,000 students. LSU is classified as a Research Extensive institution. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in marketing or related field; demonstrated scholarly distinction in the form of multiple publications in top-level journals; strong teaching ratings; demonstrated success in teaching graduate students; significant service history serving on editorial boards. Additional Qualifications Desired: Expertise in the area of marketing strategy. Responsibilities: teaches primarily at the graduate level; advises and mentors students; chairs and serves on dissertation committees; provides service to the department, college, university and the profession; continues to perform scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top marketing journals.
