Eastern Michigan University, Marketing Department – Tenure-Track Position. The Marketing Department in the College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in the supply chain management and marketing management area. The candidate would be expected to teach in our graduate and undergraduate Supply Chain Management programs (e.g., Logistics, Purchasing, and/or Supply Chain Management) and in the marketing management area (e.g., Marketing Strategy, Business-to-Business Marketing, or Customer Relationship Management) starting in Fall 2009. (A January 2009 start date is negotiable.) Situated in a metropolitan university, the College of Business is accredited by the AACSB International. The primary focus of the college/department is on teaching a diverse body of over 3000 undergraduate and 800 graduate domestic and international students. The department currently consists of 17 full time tenured or tenure-track faculty members from marketing and law disciplines who are represented by the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
Candidates should possess a doctorate in business administration from an AACSB accredited school (or an equivalent degree) with credentials to teach in marketing management and supply chain management using writing intensive and activity-based teaching approaches; ABDs close to completion will be considered. Candidates must be committed to conducting scholarly research; teaching marketing and supply chain management courses; and performing service activities for the university. Priority will be given to candidates with publications, industry experience, and relevant teaching experience.
