The Marketing Thought Leaders Forum: A Research Agenda

Coventry University Business School’s Marketing and Advertising Applied Research Group is going to be hosting The Marketing Thought Leaders Forum on 18 November 2008.

The Forum will bring together a group of world-leading, international marketing scholars for a one-day roundtable event outlining and debating contemporary research directions in Marketing and Advertising.

The Forum will enable delegates to hear Marketing’s Thought Leaders speak on key contemporary research directions and will provide academic and practitioner delegates the opportunity to contribute to the formation of tomorrow’s research agenda.

The event, co-sponsored by The Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chaired by Coventry University Business School’s Professor Amanda J. Broderick, will comprise three discussion panels on contemporary research issues led by world renowned marketing academics:

  • Professor Jan-Benedict Steenkamp, University of North Carolina
  • Professor Hans Baumgartner, The Pennsylvania State University
  • Professor Lisa Scheer, University of Missouri

For members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, this event will account for 5.5 hours of Continuing Professional Development.

A participation fee of £125 is payable. The fee includes lunch and roundtable materials. CIM members are eligible for a 10% discount.
