ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
OF MARKETING

Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing

Xavier University, a Catholic institution in the Jesuit tradition, is recruiting in the Department of Marketing to fill a tenure-track position in the Williams College of Business at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 2009. Selected candidates must have a PhD although an ABD will be considered if the degree is completed by the start of the Fall Semester, 2009. Primary consideration will be given to candidates specializing in Marketing Strategy and Marketing Management. Secondary areas of interest include Health Care Marketing, Business-to-Business Marketing, or Product Strategy.

The ideal candidate is one who is willing to contribute to the success of our students by a willingness to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses on the main campus as well as graduate courses at our off-site MBA programs. We also expect our faculty to use various teaching pedagogies and also offer new courses in their areas of expertise.

Strong teaching credentials or compelling evidence of teaching potential at the undergraduate and MBA levels is required. The College also expects its faculty to be strongly committed to scholarship and service. Prior industry experience is a plus.
