Full-time Tenure-Track Faculty Position
The Bittner School of Business at St. John Fisher College seeks to fill a tenure-track marketing faculty position for January or September 2009.
Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in marketing from an accredited institution. ABDs will be given consideration if close to completion. Applicants with degrees from AACSB accredited universities are preferred.
All applicants will be expected to meet AACSB International’s "Academically Qualified" faculty criteria at the time of their application, and must have excellent communication skills and relevant teaching experience within their area of expertise. Experienced applicants are expected to display a strong research record; recent Ph.D.s and ABDs must demonstrate potential for research productivity.
Preference will be given to applicants who have taught courses in any of the following areas: distribution management (e.g., supply-chain management), retail marketing, entrepreneurship, integrated marketing communications, and/or marketing strategy. The usual course load at the Bittner School of Business is 3 plus 3, and the mix of course assignments includes introduction to marketing course(s) along with those identified earlier. Faculty at Bittner teach at both the undergraduate and the MBA level.
