FACULTY MEMBER – Integrated Marketing Communications
The Medill School at Northwestern University seeks applications for an anticipated tenure-track professor for its Integrated Marketing Communications Department. Candidates should have an interest in research and teaching in one or more of the following areas: marketing management, market research, advertising management, media and marketing communications in a digital environment
The Integrated Marketing Communications Department at Medill offers full-time and part-time master’s degrees in integrated marketing communications and will launch an undergraduate certificate program in the fall of 2008. The IMC department features exceptionally capable students and close relationships with industry that facilitate access to data for research.
Candidates should have a completed, or nearly completed, PhD and demonstrated evidence of scholarly research. Faculty will be expected to teach in a demanding but rewarding environment at one of the nation’s premier universities. The faculty rank is anticipated at the Assistant Professor level, although a higher rank is possible if experience warrants.
The anticipated start date for this appointment is September 2009. The department will be interviewing at the summer AMA meeting in San Diego.
