Tenure-track position in marketing with an interest in retailing

The Department of Marketing, Business Economics and Law, University of Alberta, invites applications for a July 2009 tenure track position in marketing, with an interest in retailing. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in marketing (or a closely related field) either in hand or close to completion, and have a demonstrated commitment to research and teaching at a top university level. The successful candidate will be expected to be productive in research and scholarly activities, and encouraged to take advantage of externally funded research opportunities. The candidate will teach undergraduate, MBA, and PhD courses in marketing, with a particular emphasis on retailing.

The University of Alberta is one of the leading research universities in Canada, and is developing a School of Retailing within the School of Business. Salary is competitive with other business schools. This position is subject to funding.
