The Department of Marketing is the largest provider of tertiary level marketing education in Australia with over 40 full time academic staff. We have over 1800 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs across all campuses and various teaching modes. Our aim is to be recognised by our key stakeholder communities as the leader in marketing education and research in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

The Department of Marketing is growing, and we would like to appoint dedicated research driven candidates.

With recent hires from the University of Arizona, the University of Alberta and the National University of Singapore, our group has expertise across a diverse range of contexts, methods and cognate areas. Over the past few years staff have been publishing in respectable journals, such as the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Academy Marketing Science, the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Retailing, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management and the Journal of Advertising Research (amongst others).

Candidates will have a PhD in Marketing or a closely related discipline and the ability to contribute to the quality-driven research and teaching activities of the Department. Candidates for the Senior Lecturer positions will need to have a well articulated research agenda and a strong track record of publications in highly reputable international journals.

Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiable for an outstanding appointee.

Salary range: $69,853 – $82,951 / $85,570 – $98,667 pa Level B/Level C plus generous superannuation
