Korea University Business School (KUBS) is seeking qualified applicants for two full-time faculty positions (one tenure-track and one non-tenure track) in all areas of marketing. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities are to conduct scholarly research and teach marketing courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs. The tenure-track positions are initially for a three-year term with possibility of an extension for further years. The non-tenure track positions are for a minimum one-year term (preferably 2~3 years). The starting date of the appointment is September 1, 2008 but can be delayed until March 1, 2009 with an approval.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
An earned Ph.D. or ABD in marketing or a related field with strong commitment to excellence in teaching is required. In addition, for tenure-track positions, candidates should demonstrate an ability or potential for high quality scholarly research. (ABDs should have obtained a Ph.D. by the time they start the position.) For visiting positions, we are interested in non-Korean candidates only who can teach marketing courses in English.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The teaching responsibility is six credit hours (two courses) each semester. All courses should be taught in English.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY AND THE SCHOOL
Korea University is located in Seoul, the capital city of Korea. KUBS, founded in 1905, is a leading business school in Korea and is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. It currently has 84 full-time faculty members, which is the largest among business schools in Korea. KUBS has approximately 2,500 undergraduate students, 800 students in MBA, 200 students in Maser of Science, and 100 Ph.D. students in all areas of business. The marketing area has currently 13 full-time faculty members.

Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
