Possible Visiting Position

While we have not yet started the formal process, I expect that we will receive approval to hire a visitor to replace me for next academic year 2008-2009 (as I will be on sabbatical). We will be looking at Full and Associate levels for the visiting position though it could possibly be open at all levels. We will need someone to teach an MBA class in New Product Marketing in addition to other undergraduate classes. We will be open to all possible permutations, ranging from a single visitor for the entire year to multiple visitors for each quarter.

If you are interested in spending a year (or just a quarter) in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest enjoying the Seattle region life style interacting with a highly educated populace with all of its great opportunities please let us know. An intellectually happening hi-tech place for those with an interest in sipping steaming cups of espresso con doppio, spending hours in great bookstores; skiing and sailing; experiment with biodiesel and microbrews (not together, please); rubbing shoulders with players from Amazon.com, Boeing, Costco, to Microsoft, Starbucks, Zillow.com and Zymogenetics; collaborating on exciting new research with great colleagues; in fabulous new hi-tech facilities including digital multi-media labs; and full access to the resources of the University of Washington library, computing systems, and support services; or pondering the great mysteries of life.
