All papers accepted for presentation following the formal review competitive process will be published in the Conference Proceedings. These proceedings will be provided to all conference delegates, and will be available for sale to the general public. Proceedings will have an ISBN.
Highest quality papers will also be published in a special section on an upcoming edition of Social Marketing Quarterly.
Call for Papers
The 2008 INSM Conference Committee invites submission of competitive papers and proposals for Special Interest Sessions for the 2008 Conference. All papers and proposed Special Interest Sessions must reflect the conference theme of Partnerships, Proof and Practice.

How to Submit
Please email competitive paper and special interest session proposals to Theresa Mullan at tmullan@uow.edu.au. Please type ‘SUBMISSION FOR INSM 2008’ in the email subject field, and attach two separate files to the email:
- A version of your paper which includes the title, author(s) and abstract;
- A de-identified version (i.e: no authors) of your paper to allow for blind peer-review.
Conference Topic
Competitive papers and special interest sessions addressing the Conference theme – ‘Partnerships, Proof and Practice’ – are encouraged.
In addition, papers and special interest sessions may cover any of the following topics:
- Arts marketing
- Ethical and corporate social responsibility
- Environmental marketing
- Indigenous issues
- Marketing and public policy
- Political marketing
- Public health and healthcare
- Public sector marketing and e-government
- Social marketing
- Social entrepreneurship
- Sponsorship and fundraising
- Voluntary sector marketing

Practitioner Contribution Stream
Practitioners are encouraged to submit an Executive Abstract (one page document) for consideration as a 20 minute presentation (with PowerPoint slides)
Special Interest Sessions
Special Interest Sessions Proposals must include a rationale, an outline of the issues to be discussed and the name(s) and qualifications of a proposed Chair(s).
