The 2008 Marketing and Public Policy Conference (MPPC) will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Loews Hotel with easy access to attractions including Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, the Constitution Center and the Franklin Institute. The conference co-chairs (Ron Hill, Ray Taylor and John Kozup) are seeking submissions of abstracts, completed papers, and special session proposals dealing with cutting-edge issues of continuing and current concern that are at the intersection of public policy and marketing. A diversity of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches are welcome, with an emphasis on how they inform the various stages of policy development from initial inception through evaluation. Papers addressing any topic related to policy issues associated with marketing will be welcomed.

Submission and Decision Deadlines
Submissions for competitive papers, special sessions, and working papers/extended abstracts must be received no later than Friday, November 16, 2007. Notification of acceptance in one of these three categories will be made by Friday, January 25, 2008.
