Old Dominion University invites nominations and applications for the E. V. Williams Endowed Chair in Marketing in the Department of Business Administration of the College of Business and Public Administration. The department offers a PhD program in International Business with a concentration in Marketing. The position required a significant publication record in top-tier Marketing journals.
We seek an outstanding scholar who has an international reputation who will embrace excellence in both research and teaching, and who will serve as a mentor for PhD students, institute programmatic innovations, and mentor junior faculty members. While this candidate’s primary responsibilities would be in the doctoral program, he or she would also be expected to teach at the M.B.A. level and occasionally at the undergraduate level as dictated by the needs of the department.
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate degree and display a record of achievement suitable for the rank of full professor in marketing and appointment to an endowed chair in the College of Business and Public Administration.
The College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University is located in Norfolk, Virginia and enjoys proximity to beaches, a thriving economy, and a vibrant arts community. During the past few years, the college has moved into a new building, established endowments and secured funding for faculty development.
