The College of Business Administration, University of Nevada, Reno invites applications and nominations for a tenure track position in Marketing. Appointment to start Fall 2008. The position will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Managerial Sciences.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in Marketing or closely related field (or awarded by August 15, 2008). Ideal candidates are those who demonstrate strong promise for publishing in Marketing or related journals. Preference for the position will be given to candidates who possess relevant industry experience. Evidence, appropriate to rank, of teaching effectiveness in marketing undergraduate and MBA programs is desired.
Marketing Faculty
The Managerial Sciences Department has 23 full time faculty members with 5 in the Marketing area. The department takes pride in and places emphasis on its research and teaching effectiveness. The marketing program plays a strong role in undergraduate and MBA programs.
