Assistant/ Associate Professor of Marketing
North Dakota State University

The College of Business at North Dakota State University seeks to fill a tenure track position in Marketing, beginning in August 2008. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate principles of marketing and marketing elective courses. Areas of greatest need include international marketing and/ or marketing management/ strategy. The normal teaching load is five three-credit courses per year with three preparations. The position also includes expectations for conducting and publishing research in marketing, and providing service to the University and community.

Minimum qualifications include PhD in Marketing or closely related field or ABD near completion, and evidence of quality teaching and research potential. The candidate must also possess effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate strong collegial behavior. Preferred qualifications include a PhD in Marketing, an established record of quality teaching and research, the ability to work effectively in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment, and the ability to teach Principles of Marketing and international marketing and/or marketing strategy.
