January 5th & 6th 2008
at Bangalore , India
CALL FOR PAPERS
With globalization occurring at an accelerating pace and the Internet shrinking the geographic distance, organizations are trying to build stronger competitive positions by gaining and sustaining competitive advantage. Constant innovation is the only option in the changing dynamics of today’s global marketplace. Earlier, "innovation" used to be a linear path from new knowledge to new product. Now innovation arises from complex interactions between many individuals, organizations and their operating environment. Organizations which are successful in realizing the full returns from their innovations are able to match their technological developments with complementary expertise in other areas such as manufacturing, distribution, human resources, marketing, customer service, etc..
Innovation today does not confine to mere product innovations. Innovation can be thought of in multiple dimensions. Innovation permeates every aspect of an organization and every area of management. Innovation is a philosophy which takes organizations beyond rigid policies, prescriptive processes and fragmented organizational structures. The greatest challenge today is to instill a mind set of continuous innovation that will allow achieving sustainable competitive advantage, market success, customer satisfaction and profitability.
This International conference is a forum for academicians, business leaders, policy makers, researchers and students to exchange and discuss ideas, to reflect on experiences and approaches, and to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and collaboration. It will be a perfect venue to present and discuss research findings and current practices pertaining to various facets of innovation to achieve competitive advantage.
