is searching for candidates to fill two faculty positions in Marketing for Fall 2008.  Primarily we are looking to make appointments at either the assistant or full professor levels, but all levels will be considered.

Candidates for the first position must have the interest and ability to do top quality quantitative research. An interest in and experience using scanner data is required for this position. 

 The second position requires a background in behavioral marketing and the ability to do top quality behavioral-based research. An interest in brand management, advertising and promotion, international marketing, or managerial strategy is desirable.

Candidates for the quantitative position will need to teach one or more of the following courses: Marketing Management, Advertising and Promotion, International Marketing, Quantitative Modeling, or Doctoral Seminar.

Candidates for the behavioral position will need to teach one or more of the following courses: Consumer Behavior, Advertising and Promotion, Marketing Management, International Marketing, or Doctoral Seminar.

Both positions will likely involve teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The School of Management has established a Center for Relationship Marketing. It maintains a unique database from a major supermarket chain consisting of over 3 million households. The data is updated on a daily basis and offers tremendous academic research potential. Salary and benefits are competitive. Applicants for an Assistant Professor position should have a completed doctorate by Fall 2008 from a research-oriented university. Applicants for the appointment at a senior rank must in addition have an exceptional research record, excellent teaching evaluations, as well as leadership potential.
