The Department of Marketing invites applications and nominations for two tenure-track faculty positions (one at the rank of Assistant Professor and one at the rank of Associate or Full Professor) beginning Fall 2008.

Qualifications include: The Assistant Professor candidate must exhibit the potential for or demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality scholarship publishable in top academic journals in marketing. The Associate or Full Professor candidate must have demonstrated the ability to conduct and publish high-quality scholarship in top academic journals in marketing and evidence of a continuing stream of research, as well as must have demonstrated the ability to assume significant leadership and mentoring activities within the marketing department.

The primary teaching focus should be in “core” undergraduate and graduate marketing courses including marketing management, consumer behavior, marketing research, promotion management or advertising. Outstanding teaching evaluations are a distinct plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting and publishing high-quality research.
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate (MBA) teaching; two course/semester teaching load.
  • Student advising and mentoring.
  • Participation in department, college, and university activities
