CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: MRSIG AWARDS: EXTENDED DEADLINE
The AMA Marketing Research Special Interest Group (MRSIG) is issuing a call for nominations of two awards. Both awards will be presented at the AMA Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference in August 2007. We have extended the deadline for the nominations until July 1, 2007.
GIL CHURCHILL LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Nominations are being accepted for the 2007 Churchill Award for lifetime achievement in Marketing Research. The Churchill Award honors Dr. Gilbert A. Churchill, Emeritus Professor of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Recent honorees of this award include Don Lehmann, J. Paul Peter, Rick Bagozzi and Frank Bass. Nominations for the 2007 Churchill Award should be submitted to Professor Gary J. Russell (gary-j-russell@uiowa.edu) by July 1, 2007.
DON LEHMANN BEST PAPER AWARD
Nominations are being accepted for the 2007 Don Lehmann Award. This award, chosen by the SIG awards committee, honors the best dissertation-based article published in the Journal of Marketing or Journal of Marketing Research. This year, articles published in 2005 or 2006 are eligible. Please note that only articles based upon dissertation research can be considered. These articles should develop or display effective use of marketing science technologies.
Nominations for the 2007 Lehmann Award should be submitted to Professor Gary J. Russell (gary-j-russell@uiowa.edu) by July 1, 2007.
