The 2006 SSCI Journal Citation Reports are now in, and I am pleased to report that the Journal of Marketing is now the highest-cited journal in all of business and economics, with an impact factor of 4.831. JM now has the highest citation impact in the "Business" category, and also a higher impact factor than any of the journals in the other business-related categories ("Business-Finance", "Economics", "Industrial Relations and Labor", "Management", and "Public Administration"). Thanks to all of the authors and reviewers who have helped contribute to JM’s success.
