Assistant or Asociate Professor of Marketing

The College of Business and Industryat Mississippi State University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing position starting August 2008 (subject to final funding approval). The position involves conducting research and publishing in top-tier journals, teaching at the undergraduate, masters and/or doctoral levels, and providing appropriate service to the university, business community and the marketing discipline. The ideal candidate will possess an earned doctorate with a major in an appropriate area of specialization from an AACSB-accredited institution; a desire to perform high-quality collaborative research; and an interest in teaching in the areas of international transportation, supply chain management and logistics in our outstanding International Business Program. Outstanding ABDs, very near to completion, will be considered. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
