The Department of Marketing in the Foster College of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, starting in August 2008. Candidates should possess a doctoral degree in Marketing or a related field or be nearing completion of the doctoral degree. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability and commitment to maintain a sustained high-quality research program and a dedication to teaching excellence. Marketing offerings in undergraduate and graduate programs afford opportunities to accommodate individuals with a variety of teaching interests, yet minimize the number of different course preparations.
Bradley University, an independent, privately endowed, coeducational institution with selective admissions, is located in Peoria, Illinois on a beautiful 85-acre campus in the heart of the city. Peoria is a thriving metropolitan area with a population of over 350,000. The Foster College of Business Administration was the 21st named college of business in the United States. U.S. News & World Report consistently rates Bradley as one of the best comprehensive universities in the Midwest and among the top "Best Value" schools in the Midwest. The department serves the 1150 students of the Foster College of Business Administration including approximately 200 Marketing majors and 150 marketing minors. The Foster College is one of a select few schools of business to offer an undergraduate sales program. The department supports a Marketing concentration in the MBA program and core classes in the Foster College’s AACSB award-winning Executive MBA program.
